Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What is Jambol ™?
Jambol ™ is a sports simulation game. Picks use virtual points with no cash value and there are no cash prizes. Points, multipliers and results are fictional and used for entertainment only.
How do I take part?
You need to sign up and log in. Each user plays inside a league, with a weekly points budget. You make picks on available matches in the Matches section.
Where do multipliers and results come from?
Multipliers and results come from a sports data provider. Jambol stores and updates them in the background to show them in Matches and to settle tickets when each game ends.
What do the arrows next to some multipliers mean?
In Premium leagues some multipliers show an indicator: green arrow (up), red arrow (down) or equals (unchanged), comparing the current snapshot with the previous one. Free leagues do not show this.
Can I see how my standing evolves?
Yes. In Standings you can open the weekly history. The chart shows your position across matchdays, with options for names on the left or right and mobile tweaks.
Is real money used?
Not for picks. Picks use virtual points only, with no deposits or cash prizes. Optional Premium (extra league tools, not prediction currency) is paid on the web with a secure provider; it is not processed inside the iOS/Android apps.
What leagues are there?
Every user belongs to a league. There are main leagues and other competitions (club cups, Copa del Rey, etc.) that admins can enable. Some sections show extra tabs when they are on.
How do I manage my data and cookies?
You can change cookie preferences from the banner or the Cookie Policy page. For personal data and privacy rights, write to contact@jambol.co.
How are accumulators calculated?
Ticket history shows accumulators with the combined multiplier obtained by multiplying the included picks.
Where can I find more legal information?
Read the Terms and Conditions and the Cookie Policy for the service and consent details.
Can I see a match's stats?
In Premium leagues the info icon on each match opens recent form, the table, goals, corners and head-to-head. Free leagues still show the icon, with a note that those stats need a Premium league.
What are match blocks?
Match blocks are a Premium-only tool that lets you lock a specific match for another player in your league so they cannot pick it. Block points reset every Tuesday.
What are the match-block rules?
The rules are:
- You can block 1 match against another player per matchday.
- You can block a maximum of 2 matches in total (two different users).
- You can have at most 3 matches blocked against you.
- Block points reset on Tuesdays.
What if someone blocks a match for me?
You cannot interact with that match. If you already had a ticket on it, you cannot cancel it. If an accumulator includes a blocked match, you cannot act on that ticket either.
How do I block a match for another player?
Open Standings, tap the player, pick the league and the match. You cannot block it if it is already blocked or if that player would be left with fewer than 3 available matches.
Is Jambol a bookmaker?
No. It is a simulation and fantasy game. Picks use virtual points. No deposits to play and no cash prizes. The long explanation is in what Jambol is.
